Navy Therapy Dogs

A female Labrador retriever named Sage has served as a therapy dog on the Ford since 2023, initially as part of a trial of the concept for the Navy. Sage, who holds the rank of captain, is “trained to alert to anxiety, reduce stress, and interrupt detrimental behaviors,” said Tara Fisher, a spokesperson for Mutts with a Mission, a nonprofit that connects specially trained dogs like Sage with military and law enforcement personnel.

No Kings Protest

Before Springsteen took the stage, organizers played a video in which actor Robert DeNiro said he wakes up every morning depressed because of Trump but was happier Saturday because millions of people were protesting. He also congratulated Minnesotans for running ICE out of town.

The bill also included singer Joan Baez, actor Jane Fonda, Vermont U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders and a long list of activists, labor leaders and elected officials.

Protesters held up a massive sign on the Capitol steps that read, “We had whistles, they had guns. The revolution starts in Minneapolis.”

Station Wagons Rule

The idea started as an April Fool’s joke last year, but the overwhelmingly positive reaction from fans worked something loose, and someone in Munich signed off on a budget to make a station wagon version of its GT3 race car (the M4 GT3 EVO). It makes its NLS debut next week, with the highlight of the program being the Nürburgring 24H in mid-May. That race will also be contested by one Max Verstappen on a weekend away from F1.

The Mac Book Neo

From the Dept. of You Aren’t Supposed to do That.

Interestingly, this wasn’t the first time they tested the A19 Pro chip. Back when the iPhone 16 Pro came out, they ran the TCP-H benchmark with the device inside a bucket of dry ice at -50ºC, where it completed the run in 478.2 seconds.

Also, very interesting to see the Mac Book Neo perform so well. I’m genuinely curious about this device and could easily see me owning one of these.
